Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

be aged between 18 and 25 (may be extended up to 30 years of age in some cases)
hold an Australian passport valid for at least 12 months from the date the visa is issued
have a Police Clearance Certificate issued from your local Australian police station
not be accompanied by children

Visa Fee

The visa costs AUD$100 paid by money order or bank cheque.

Proof of Funds

You must provide evidence of approximately AUD$4,500 at the time of the applicationin the form of a bank statement.

Quota

No known quotas.

Validity

The visa is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Employment Restrictions

You can not work as an entertainer or a sports person.

Re-Entry

You may leave and re-enter multiple times but the time allowed for your visa will not be paused while you are away.

General Comments

In some cases people up to the age of 30 may be approved. The visa takes around 8 weeks to process. You may be asked to produce a return travel ticket.
